My Family {Loganville Family Photography}

I finally got to do some family portraits for my brother and his family. That was one of the many disadvantages of living so far away for the past 4 years. I am so happy to be back in GA, and able to spend more time with them. I know my boys love being able to play with their cousins more and I am so glad they will get to grow up together!

We met at Vines Botanical Gardens in Loganville on a steamy afternoon. We started at 4 PM, which typically would be great for shoots, but with all of the trees, the lighting was tricky! Even with random crazy sun splotches, I think we were able to get some great shots their beautiful family. I love you guys and hope you enjoy your photos!!!

The "P" Family {Smyrna Family Photography}

I met this sweet family at Taylor-Brawner Park in Smyrna for a shoot last weekend. It was unusually toasty by GA standards, and the sun was super bright. Luckily, the park featured tons of great spots for photos and boy did we take advantage of them! Little "P" was a trooper. She endured 5 wardrobe changes and several location changes...all with a precious smile on her face. Honestly, this was one of the quickest and easiest shoots I have ever had with a little one. She is just a doll! Thank you so much "P" family for the opportunity to shoot your family portraits. I sincerely hope I get to watch this little cutie grow up!!!

This is one of my favorite shots EVER! The colors, the smiles...I love it all!

MJ's Having A Baby {Atlanta Maternity Photography}

This beautiful Mommy-to-Be is a great friend of mine from high school. I just adore her! When she announced that she was having a little girl I was so excited! This baby is going to have the coolest Mommy and will be the best dressed baby on the block, I'm sure! I was honored when she asked me to do her maternity portraits, and so thrilled to be able to work with a creative mind on the shoot. MJ chose the Spruill Gallery in Atlanta for the shoot. This place was unbelievable...seriously a dream location for a shoot! This historic home in the city was converted into an art gallery, and is surrounded by quirky, modern sculptures that contrast nicely with the traditional Victorian style of the building itself. Needless to say, it was love at first site for me! MJ, I hope you love your portraits. I wish only the best for you and your little girl!

First Shot of the Day

This image came straight out of the camera. That was a giant wind chime and this is my version of the baby-bump-peeking-past-a-wall shot.

I love making personalized items to use in shoots. It's so much fun getting to do a craft project every now and then!

This sign, painted on a barn outside of the gallery, is what drew MJ to this location. I cannot tell you how many times I told myself and my babies this very thing while I was pregnant. I loved it!

MJ really wanted to have pictures made at the gallery, but loved the idea of the tall grasses and fields as well. Who knew you could find both in the same parking lot in the middle of Atlanta!

The *A* Family {Lawrenceville Maternity Photography}

Believe it or not, that belly is carrying twins! This little Mamma is 8 months along, which means these baby girls could come any time. She looks fabulous, right!? I am pretty sure this is what I looked like when I was 6 months pregnant with both of my boys. Thank you, Mommy and Daddy-to-Be for allowing me to share in this occasion with you. You are going to have so much fun with these girls!!!

The Mitchell Family {Suwanee Family Photography}

This Mommy of 4 is another one of my friends from back-in-the-day. I was so excited for the opportunity to photograph her family. Do you see how beautiful they all are??? This family is a photographer's dream! Beyond good looks, all 6 of them are terribly sweet. We met The River Club early Saturday morning for the shoot. If you've never seen it...it's beyond gorgeous! I could have spent the whole day there. What can I say...I'm a sucker for a beautiful GA golf course!

It was much easier than I expected to get all of the kiddos to cooperate. Mommy bribed with candy and I chased them around with the camera. It was a pretty typical shoot, only with 4 little ones. They were perfect, rambunctious little models! Just like I like 'em! I didn't get a ton of shots (breakfast time came calling), but I don't think I needed them. I'm pretty sure it would be more difficult to take a bad photograph of this crew!

Joy, thank you for allowing me to photograph your precious family. I hope you enjoy your photos!

Baby Bliss {Altanta Newborn Photography}

This little cutie's Mommy and I go way back (like "cheerleading in elementary school" way back). It was so nice to see Stephanie again and catch up. I know she is so glad to finally hold Miss EK. Seriously, when a baby is this precious, who wouldn't be! EK slept through most of the session, but she DID NOT like to be messed with. So, posing went out the window. She loved the heating pad I put under the blankets and wanted to sleep on her belly most of the time, so we decided not to push it...and that's just fine! We got some great shots of this beautiful little one. I even got her to smile for her Daddy, while she was wearing her Bulldog dress!

Stephanie, thank you for choosing me to capture such a special time for your family. I am grateful for the opprtunity and cannot wait to watch this little girl grow up! She is just perfect!

Our TaTa Got Married!!! {Palm Beach Wedding Photography}

For those of you who know the Burtch family, you know how special Tatiana (or TaTa / Tateeeeana as she is affectionately called) is to us. She answered a Craigslist ad we put up in search of a nanny over 2 years ago. And we really feel so blessed to have had her in our home, to help us raise our children. She loves Hayden and Colton like they are her family, and really they are. I feel like she is my adult daughter (she refers to me as her "Young Momma") and I couldn't be more proud of her. Since we met her a little over 2 years ago, she has blossomed. She got her GED, graduated college, made some tough "life" decisions, and found her husband. That's a lot to pack in to a couple of years. One of the toughest parts of moving from FL to GA, was knowing that we would be so far away from Tatiana. She is such a huge part of our family and we miss her dearly. Knowing that she has Jota, to care for and protect her, made the move a little bit easier...just a little bit!

Tatiana...we love you more than you will ever know. You have been an absolute joy and we are so grateful for everything you have done for our family. You will always be our family, no matter where we live! We wish you all of the love and happiness that you deserve...and that's a whole lot! Hugs and kisses from all of us in GA!!!!!
