Bridal Bash {Fort Lauderdale Event Photography}

My dear friend, Nicole, is getting married on July 1...cliffside...in Italy...on the Amalfi Coast. You can be jealous now! I know I am! I got to attend her bridal shower at Shooters in Ft. Lauderdale on Saturday and had a blast! Here are a few of the photos I wanted to share. Nicole, you can breath easy. I left out the pictures of the unmentionables you received! lol ;)

Another Favor By Yours Truly

Sweet Story: Nicole gave the picture on the left to her mother to show her what kind of veil she wanted to wear on her wedding day. Her mother took the photos and had the veil on the right made out of her wedding dress with real pearls and Swarovski crystals...Nicole's something "old". There is also a tiny blue bow sewn on the inside...so creative!

Nicole...I Love you, Girl! I hope you have a blast gallivanting around Europe prior to your big day. I was serious when I said I wanted to go in your suitcase. I think I can fit if I drop a few pounds!!

Seriously though, I hope you have the wedding of your dreams. We will be thinking about you guys and praying that your wedding day is everything that you've hoped for and deserve! XOXO

A Latte Fun Birthday {Wellington Children's Photography}

I had the honor of working with the crew at A Latte Fun in Wellington over the weekend for this little guys' 3rd birthday. This place is too cool....indoor playground for the kids, chic coffee shop for the adults...that's a WIN in my book. I have some photos to coming soon so that you can see what I'm carrying on about. I had a blast and the party was a huge success!

So, these are my very last vendor highlights for the giveaway! It's been a lot of planning and organizing, but I have really enjoyed working with the fabulous vendors and getting to know their products. The creativity of some people never ceases to amaze me. Liz is one of those people! I was giddy/excited when she agreed to participate in this giveaway, because her company sells one of the coolest items for babies I have seen is a while. I constantly had a camera in my boys' faces from the time I brought them home. I have hundreds of photos, but I can't tell you exactly how old they were when the photos were taken. {Vendor Highlight} Enfant de la Mer Photo Props

I love all of the super-girlie handmade headbands out there these days. Since I do make them, I know how much time and effort and love goes into each one. As a photographer, I love the color and creativity they bring to a photo shoot. I am super excited to share this VERY special vendor with you. Marie-Helen Larocque creates some true masterpieces. Her headbands are so incredibly beautiful. Trust me when I say that you MUST check out her store. I LOVE the use of peacock feathers!!! I asked Marie to share a little bit about herself and her company:

"I'm a photographer and a mom of 4 beautiful kids (2 girls, 2 boys, from 10 to 2 years old). I started making headbands a couple of months ago after spending a small fortune on headbands and deciding I should try and make them so I'd save some money. lol... Well, let me tell ya, I'm sorta addicted to making them now. I only make OOAK (one of a kind) headbands because I like variety and I like being creative. I try to make them using different materials, different techniques and different styles. I am going to have more props (pettiskirts and rompers) for girls, as well as boy sets.

{Vendor Highlight} Monkey Shine Designs

Talk about precious! These little toppers make me want to have another baby, just so that I can dress it up (just kidding honey!!!). In all seriousness, these designs are custom. Krista, the mastermind behind Monkey Shine Designs creates the patterns and crochets them herself. How adorable are these going to be on your photography clients, or on your own littles? In her own words:

"Hello! I'm Krista Stevens of Monkey Shine Designs. I am so excited to be a part of this giveaway! In case you're wondering where the name Monkey Shine comes from, it was a nickname my mom called me as a child growing up. It was quite embarrassing as I remember! But after having my own kids, I've realized that the nicknames you give your children are given with much love {even if they are embarrassing for the kid!}.

{Vendor Highlight} HANNAH MIA

My FIRST vendor highlight for the upcoming giveaway, features Hannah Mia. Jenni Clark is the deliciously creative mind behind these delicate and beautiful bows, headbands, tutus and custom children's shirts.

I have asked Jenni to describe her business in her own words, and here is what she had to say:

"My name is Jenni Clark and I own Hannah Mia. The reason I started Hannah Mia is for my sweet girls. My oldest is Hannah (she's 3) and Mia (1) is my baby. They were both born with lots and lots of hair; since the day they were born, they wore cute bows and headbands. However, we lose them...a lot!! I was spending so much money replacing them, I thought I would give making them a try. I found out, I might have a little bit of a talent. But it was after I made the girls' their first tutus - which I had so much fun making - I started feeling a tug to start something and Hannah Mia began in September 2010. And, I have been having so much fun since!! Some of my hair clips are sold in a local store, My Dress Up Shop.

My goal has always been to create and sell cute and affordable hair clips, headbands, tutus, and more. Like I said, I am having so much fun and I love every order I get."

Mommy & Me {Wellington Children's Photography}

I feel so blessed to have been able to photograph this little princess since she was just 3 months old. She is just a doll-baby and a joy to work with. I LOVE that her spunky personality is really starting to show through...you should see the looks she was giving me and her mommy! This was a special Mommy & Me session and I think we got a great mix of images of the little one and her fabulous Mommy. Stephanie...Thanks so much for spending the morning with me. I hope you had an unforgetable 1st Mother's Day!!!!

Pat & Nicole Are Getting Hitched!!! {Miami Engagement Photography}

I met 2 of my favorites at Deerfield Beach for an Engagement shoot a couple of weeks ago. You see, Pat and Nicole are some of our best friends and this engagement was a LOOOOONG time coming! They are going to have a dream wedding in the Italian wine country (just think Under the Tuscan Sun). But, the wedding is going to be a very small and intimate occasion and I will not be able to attend (boo!). Needless to say, I wanted to help them remember as much of this experience as possible. I was honored when they asked me to be a witness for the official document signing at the Italian Consulate, and even more so when they allowed me to do this session. Pat & Nicole...you are great friends and we couldn't be happier for you. Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of this VERY special time in your lives. I love you dearly!
