Sister, Sisters {South Florida Childrens Photography}

One of my favorite movies growing up was "White Christmas". These precious girls instantly reminded me of the sisters in that movie, with their beautiful blond hair, matching white dresses and Christmas spirit! They seem like the "all kinds of weather, we stick together" type of girls. It was fun to watch them interact, and act girlie! As you know, that is a bit foriegn to me since I have two rough and tumble boys at home :) ! Their mommy was super sweet and came with ideas and props...which I always love and appreciate! I think the photos turned out beautifully. Christine, I hope you love them! Thanks for letting me spend time with your little angels!

Busy, Busy, Busy

So this weekend was the calm (if you can call it that) before the storm. I have 5 sessions scheduled between Thursday and Sunday. It's going to be CRAZY in the Burtch household this weekend! This past Sunday, I had the honor of spending the day with the wonderful people of the Boynton Beach JCC. I photographed their annual frundraising Character Breakfast. It was a toy story themed event...I know a certain 3 year old who would have had a heart attack! I am so thankful for the opportunity and really appreciate the referral from my beautiful friend, Heather Feinstein. Unfortunately, I will not be adding any of those photos, as there were so many children and absolutely no way that I caould ask all of the parents to sign photo releases. That's okay, b/c I always have photos of other children (aka my children) to share!!! I was practicing headshots when I snapped these of my precious Hayden. Isn't he just a doll!

Baby "Z" {Palm Beach Gardens Newborn Photography}

Teeny, tiny Baby "Z" was about as sweet as they come. She was such a fantastic little model and smiled and really seemed to enjoy the camera. Another thing she enjoyed...a bigger bottle than she normally takes! I tend to have that effect on babies...as you can tell by the size of my boys ;)! All joking aside, her Mommy is so proud, and rightfully so! Baby "Z" is just beautiful and I am honored to have had the opportunity to photograph her!

Down on the Farm {South Georgia Friends Photography}

While Kevin and I were participating in all of the wedding festivities last weekend, Hayden (who was there as the cutest ring barer EVER - see photo to the left) got to stay with his sweet cousins (well, second cousins, but who's keeping track) in Adel, GA. My wonderful Aunt Bonnie shuttled him back and forth so that he could serve his duties, but it also allowed us to spend time with dear friends. We are so, so greatful for all 4 of you! His cousins took such good care of him and he loved every minute of the time he spent with them. He was also so exhausted, I think he could have slept for days...if he didn't feel like he would miss out on so much! To say thank you to Morgan, who I'm sure did her share of babysitting that weekend, I did a little "Friends" photoshoot on her friend Jenny's farm. This turned out to be just as cool for me as it was for them! Talk about a photographer's dream...this farm was ahhh-mazing! It had cotton fields, rusted trucks, cows, horses, barns...you name it! I had a blast with the firls and I hope they love their photos! Morgan, Haley, Macey, Ashlyn and Jenny -- Thank you for being such beautiful models. I hope you guys had as much fun as I did and I can't wait to shoot you guys again soon!

Scarlett O'Hara would have been proud...Cotton fields and beautiful Southern Belles!

My Work At Work

It is always exciting to see the photos I have taken being used by my clients. I mean, I know that's why they come to me, but makes me proud to do what I do and is always a humbling experience. Our friends used several of their engagement photos as decorations at their reception....I just thought I would share!

NY / Tallahassee Engagement Photography - Such an Engaging Couple

While in Tallahassee for our friends' wedding, I had the opportunity to take some engagement photos for 2 of my favorite people, Ricky and Larissa. They are the most entertaining, hysterical couple I know and I love them both dearly. They live in NY and we don't get to see them very often, so it was extra special getting to spend a little more time with them (even if Ricky did start to act like my 3 year old...I won't hold that against him)! They let me play around with some ideas and I think they worked out pretty well. Congrats Ricky and Larissa...we can't wait for March to roll around!

South Florida Photography Products

Okay...So this weekend was SUPER busy. We went to Tallahassee for the wedding of our dear friends Ray and Mary (you can see their engagement photos in my very first post. We packed so, so much into this weekend, including 2 photos shoots for me. I have a lot of editing to do before you see those photos. But in the meantime, I wanted to share a new product that I will be offering my wonderful customers. This Blackberry Gel Skin is about as cool as it gets. Take a look at my sweet boys below. Now, I'll be able to carry them with me wherever I go! Love it!
